Sheraton Park Tower 101 Knightsbridge, SW1X 7RN. Tel: 0207-235 8050 Fax: 0207-235 8231. The modern circular tower of this popular hotel (289 rooms) is fíve minutes' walk from Harrods, and close to Hyde Park. Attracts a lot of business visitors. Casino next door. Friendly service.

Beautifully located just minutes away from Piccadilly. Good choice for those who like small hotels (80 rooms), old-fashioned service.
Cadogan Hotel 75 Sloane Street, SW1X 9SG. Tel: 0207-235 7141 Fax: 0207-245 0994. Another 19th-century style hotel, owned by Historic House Hotels. 65 rooms. Interesting position between Knightsbridge and Chelsea. Lily Langtry lived in is now the bar.

Large modern City Development Limited owned hotel (610 rooms) just off Gloucester Road and its useful Tube station, but otherwise a rather soulless locale. The hotel itself is a bit office-like. Handy for the big museums.
